"Symposium on Children with Biliary Atresia and Liver Transplantation" Held at Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine

Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine hosted the "Symposium on Children with Biliary Atresia and Liver Transplantation" on 14 June 2025. At the symposium, the diagnosis, treatment and liver transplantation processes of biliary atresia were addressed from a multidisciplinary perspective in their clinical, surgical and experimental aspects.

Many expert physicians contributed to the event with their presentations, and the topics on the agenda included current developments in the pathophysiology of pediatric cholestasis, diagnostic and treatment approaches in biliary atresia, nutritional management, surgical decision-making processes, 3D simulation techniques, and the sharing of experiences from Türkiye and abroad.

Bringing together academics, specialists and students, the symposium enhanced knowledge sharing on pediatric liver diseases.
